Low backlash Planetary Gearbox / Planetary Gear Reducer compatible with servo and stepper motors, minor custom dimension and ratio available for automation, robot and new energy machinery from FS-MOTION.

Detailed Description

Planetary Gearbox / Planetary Gear Reducer | FS-MOTION Precision Inline & Right Angle Gearboxes As core transmission components for automation equipment, FS-MOTION planetary gear reducers realize torque amplification, speed reduction and high precision positioning via planetary gear meshing. Standard models are available from stock with adjustable parameters. Non standard custom solutions are offered for special working conditions. Compatible with most mainstream servo and stepper motors. Key Parameters & Advantages 1. Noise level: Operating noise ≤65dB 2. Transmission Efficiency   Inline spur gear (PF/PL): L1>97%, L2>95%   Helical gear (PNF/PWE/ZPNF/ZPWE): L1≥95%, L2≥90%   Right angle spur gear (ZPF/ZPL): efficiency follows inline spur gear specification 3. Input speed: Max 8000rpm for frame 60; Max 6000rpm for frame 90/120 4. Torque note: Peak torque equals 2× rated torque, momentary use only, continuous peak load is prohibited 5. Mechanical performance: Hardened alloy steel gears, design life 20000h, IP65 protection, mounting in any orientation 6. Backlash: Multiple grades from 3-12 arcmin for different positioning requirements 7. Motor compatibility: Standard flange design, no extra mechanical modification for replacement 8. Flexible delivery: Standard units in stock. Minor adjustments on ratio, flange and torque are supported. Custom service available for special structures 9. Factory test: Every unit is inspected on backlash, noise and rated load for reliable long time operation Main Standard Models Coaxial Inline Series PF Spur Gear: Cost effective for general automation PL Spur Gear: Short body for limited installation space PNF Helical Gear: Low noise & high precision for long term high speed running PWE Helical Gear: Ultra thin flat design for rotary worktables 90° Right Angle Series ZPF Spur Gear: Economy right angle output with square flange ZPL Spur Gear: Compact short body round flange for space saving ZPNF Helical Gear: High precision right angle for heavy duty high speed conditions ZPWE Helical Gear: Ultra thin right angle flange for worktable corner transmission Spur Gear Features Cost effective with high efficiency, backlash 8-12 arcmin, ideal for cost sensitive general purpose production lines without ultra high precision requirements. Helical Gear Features Low noise, higher load capacity and smooth transmission. Backlash 3-5 arcmin, suitable for high precision and long continuous run applications. Application Scenarios Assembly lines, conveyor systems, packaging machinery, general purpose testing equipment. Helical gear versions fit robotics, lithium battery equipment, laser machines and 3C precision automation. FAQ Q1: How to choose between spur gear and helical gear reducers? A: Select spur gear for cost focused applications such as normal conveying and basic positioning. Choose helical gear for low noise demand, high frequency reciprocation, high precision positioning and long time continuous operation. Q2: What does IP65 mean? Can it work in dusty or water spray environment? A: IP65 rating provides full dust protection and resistance to low pressure water jet. It fits most factory workshop conditions, but not for continuous immersion or high pressure washing. Q3: Mounting in any orientation, are there any installation notes? A: Horizontal, vertical and upside down mounting are all supported. For vertical overhead mounting, check motor oil seal and grease condition periodically to extend service life. Q4: What is the difference between rated torque and peak torque? A: Rated torque is allowed for continuous operation. Peak torque reaches twice rated torque and is only for momentary shock load. Continuous peak load operation will cause gear damage. Q5: Can we change flange size or modify output shaft dimension on standard models? A: Minor modification of gear ratio, flange and output shaft are acceptable based on standard housing. Major structural changes require non standard custom solution. Q6: What is the definition of 20000 hours service life? A: 20000h is theoretical design life under continuous rated torque and rated speed. Actual service life depends on real world load, speed, shock and working environment. Frequent shock loads will shorten service cycle.
